Their intentions are clear: They are offering limited free services to attract customers to try out their VPN in the hopes of eventually getting them to buy a subscription. The difference is that those limited free VPNs are from well-established service providers that also have paid-for products. Still, we’d rather have those limitations than the alternative – sketchy VPN brands offering free services with no limits whatsoever.
